"I am the CFO of Health Services of North Texas, Inc. HSNT has provided healthcare services for 30 years and became a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2012. I started working with Talia Peterson during the time our center was applying to become an FQHC. To this day, I continue to reach out for her advice and expertise in strengthening our financial systems. She maintains a breadth of knowledge specifically around FQHC compliance. Following is an attempt to name just a few of the services I have received: credentialing with all Medical Payers and medical billing systems to ensure timely payment for services rendered, grant cost centers and billing systems, and overall general ledger systems to remain compliment with Federal and State regulations. The list could go and on. I definitely recommend CFO Perfect,LLC to any FQHC looking for support with financial systems. Talia has experience with HRSA, 340B and required OMB audits. If you understand this language, this is the group to ask for support."

"Ms. Talia Peterson has proven to be a visionary leader, strong motivational supervisor, and a compassionate co-worker. She has always been a source of joy to work with, as I have found her to be a very dependable, hardworking, and conscientious team player. In her role as Chief Financial Officer, she has displayed very keen insight regarding several strategic initiatives geared towards the continued financial viability of the organization. Ms. Peterson's high-level strategic approach regarding several departmental work flow problems led to improved efficiencies in patient eligibility screening, registration and billing procedures for services; the patient care experience was also positively impacted by these improvements. During her tenure, the necessary internal controls, over all financial and billing activities were better defined and significantly strengthened in the organization."

"In early 2009, I received a distress call from Cross Timbers Health Clinic (CTHC). They were in dire financial straits and I became their CEO to help salvage their organization. It was the most difficult assignment of my career as a medical administrator, but we not only salvaged the organization but also expanded it over the next two years. Talia Peterson was a huge factor in that success. Talia worked tirelessly. She dug through mounds of financial information, picked through the maze of erroneous general ledger entries, and rebuilt the accounting structure of the organization. Talia's work allowed CTHC not only to successfully complete a federally mandated Financial Recovery Plan, but also qualify for additional grant funds. During this same period, CTHC implemented a new medical practice software and an electronic health record. Success would have been impossible without Talia's active participation and leadership. In this midst of this change, CTHC moved their clinic in Brownwood into a new building and opened two additional clinics - one in Brownwood and one in Stephenville. Both new sites included a new dental facility as well as behavioral health and family practice. She is a very savvy lady with a tremendous amount of drive. She works hard and is not afraid of a challenge - my kind of lady!"

"Ms. Peterson had the direct responsibility for the fiscal accounting for all Workforce Grants in the Concho Valley, which total over $2.8 million annually. She has played an important and integral part in the financial planning aspects of budgeting and operations of the Workforce Center. She has developed many computer-automated spreadsheets to track funding for client services and encumbrances against the current and future funding. She has always been able to provide detailed information on expenditures of the project, and assists in developing a sound budget for the Center. Her accounting records have been reviewed annually by auditors from the Texas Workforce Commission with the results of 'No Findings'."
