Does your FQHC provide services for substance use disorders and/or mental health?

Then HRSA has a new FY 2019 Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) supplemental funding available.

CFO Perfect can help you prepare a successful funding application (payer analysis, estimated unduplicated patients, estimated number of visits, budget).

This non-competitive supplement funding will help current FQHCs (current H80 award recipients) increase access to high quality integrated behavioral health services. The services include prevention or treatment of mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders through activities like workforce expansion, opioid prevention, telehealth and other health information technologies advancement, and professional development and training.

The application must:

  1. Increase new and/or existing number of patients receiving substance use disorders and/or mental health services.

  2. Add at least 0.5 substance use disorder and/or mental health service personnel FTE.

The period of performance is from September 1, 2019 through the end of the award recipient’s FY 2020 budget period. The application opens in EHB on April 5, 2019 and the application due date in EHB is May 13, 2019 by 5 p.m. EST. The total available funding is $200 million and an estimated number of awards of up to 1,375. The estimated award amount per recipient is $145,000.
